Highlighting the city’s unique status as an exemplary model for systematic national progress, Shri Modi emphasized its reputation for ensuring a better lifestyle and ease of living. चंडीगढ़ के लोगों ने स्वच्छता को लेकर एक नई अलख जगाई है। मैं यहां के अपने परिवारजनों को इसकी विशेष बधाई देता हूं। स्वच्छता के ऐसे अभियान आज देश के बहुत काम आ रहे हैं।

बीते 12 वर्षों में हमारी सरकार ने स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के क्षेत्र में देश का सामर्थ्य बढ़ाया है, जिससे आज लोगों को इलाज की बेहतर सुविधाएं मिल रही हैं। हमारे प्रयासों का एक बड़ा परिणाम यह भी है कि भारत मेडिकल टूरिज्म का एक अहम डेस्टिनेशन बन रहा है।

बीमारियों के इलाज पर ही नहीं, Preventive Healthcare पर भी हमारा निरंतर फोकस रहा है। इसका बड़ा लाभ हमारी माताओं-बहनों और गरीब भाई-बहनों के साथ ही मिडिल क्लास को भी हो रहा है।

PM Watching Skyroot Event, in New Delhi on July 18, 2026.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today, extended his best wishes to Skyroot Aerospace ahead of the maiden orbital launch of Vikram-1, India’s first privately developed launch vehicle, describing it as a historic milestone in the nation’s space journey. Shri Modi said that the launch of Vikram-1 marks the opening of a new frontier for India’s space ambitions and reflects the country’s growing capabilities in innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.

The Prime Minister also urged citizens, particularly the youth, to witness this landmark mission.

At 11:30 AM today, Skyroot Aerospace will undertake the maiden orbital launch of Vikram-1, India’s first privately developed launch vehicle.

This four-stage rocket is designed to provide rapid and on-demand launch services. This mission highlights the talent, determination and entrepreneurial spirit of our youth. It also shows how our space-sector reforms are unlocking new opportunities for innovation and enterprise.
