Is Andhra Pradesh developing under Chandrababu Naidu ?
The answer is a big Yes, WITH THE SPECIAL PACKAGES NAIDU RECEIVED FROM THE BJP GOVERNANCE AND PM GOOD INTENTION AND CARE, NOT BY NAIDU!
A resident of VIZAG SAID that Most of the people who are not residing in Andhra Pradesh aren’t aware of things happening in AP.
This time CB. Naidu became CM for a state that doesn’t have a capital and with a government deficit of about 17k Crores.
He has been converting crisis into an opportunity from Day 1 let me make you to go through the things happened in the state after he taking charge as CM in 2014.
He got many packages from BJP, THROUGH OUT WHEN THEY WERE IN POWER , HE HAS ALREADY TOOK MAXIMUM ADVANTAGES OUT OF NDA PARTNERSHIP .. AND ANDHRA IS RICH NOW.
THE TRUTH IS UNDER, UNGRATEFUL, OPPORTUNIST NAIDU
REF :-
Granting special status to Andhra Pradesh not viable, If MODIJI give special status to Andhra today, another state will ask for it tomorrow; Further Special Status is for weaker and very backward states only, but not rich one ..
CHANDRABABU NAIDU IS PLAYING POLITICS OF OPPORTUNISM, PARTY POLITICS, LEFT THE ALLIANCE AND NOW, LOOKING NEW PARTNERS SUCH AS ISLAMIC GROUPS AND OTHERS WHO HATE BJP AND PM MODIJI;
UNGRATEFUL, OPPORTUNIST NAIDU;
THE TRUTH IS UNDER :- Read carefully and realise the facts ..
1. HUDHUD in 2014 :-
After he took charge in 2014 HUDHUD was an uninvited guest it was the biggest cyclone in Vizag’s history as a Viziagite i knew it personally, my parents witnessed it. When HudHud hit Vizag i’m in Hyderabad, When things restored i called my mother and she said how harsh mother nature was. AP under the leadership of CBN is completely prepared and CBN brought normalcy in a week. He brought most of the government employees to Vizag and made them work to get things under control. In our area power was restored in 3 days, in Villages it took 5–6 days. He is the first one to reach Vizag after HUDHUD hit Vizag, he worked in a bus and brought things under control. He gave stern warnings to telecom operators and made them to restore their networks ASAP.
After 3 years recently this happened, Kudos to GVMC and AP Government.
2. Vizag :-
He is trying hard to make Vizag an IT Hub. There is a huge tower construction going on Similar to Cyber Towers in Hyderabad named Millennium Tower. Once it’s done we can see things moving in a faster pace. There is even a lot of Pitching going on for promoting Vizag as a Fintech Valley.
TU-142 is brought to Vizag and that is being made as a museum, there are even plans of bringing INS Viraat to Vizag the talks are still happening. New Glass domed train to Araku
GVMC will be the first Municipal Corporation in India to deploy a 100 mass electric two-wheeler mobility system. GVMC sanitary supervisors will be using these for their daily patrol and supervision.
3. Rise of Amaravati :-
According to me Amaravati is the right place to be chosen as a capital it has got both the historical significance and the needed resources to be the futuristic capital of AP. Amaravati, a place with great heritage running back over 2000 years. No where in Independent India 30,000 acres of land is pooled voluntarily, it’s CBN’s innovative idea of land pooling that’s a win-win for both the government and farmers. Many states today are adopting CBN’s land pooling scheme for developmental activities in their states. Made Singapore Government to prepare master plan for Amaravati for free of cost.
Appointed Fosters + Partners as the architects for the government complex. Here is the master plan that was recently submitted to Government of Andhra Pradesh by Foster + Partners. By looking at it I am sure and confident that Amaravati will be India's and one of world's best city. Brace yourself Chandigarh we are going to steal best city tag from you in two decades. This is the final design of our assembly building that is going to come up at our World class Amaravati.
For closely working with people of AP he wanted to shift from Hyderabad, With in 197 days he is able to do this in Amaravati

Rayalaseema getting most of the investments is a sign that CBN want to lift people of Seema from factionism.

5. Agriculture
There is myth that CBN never cares about Agriculture, but he is going shut all of their mouths with his work. He waived off about 24,000 Crores of loans for farmers, UP is going to study our loan waiver scheme. Almost 13,000 crores are done till now and the remaining will be done in the next couple of years. For the first time in the country a special Budget for Agriculture was introduced.
In the last 3 years there are about 3.11 lakhs of Farm Ponds are being digged in AP. Data shows that Centre has built only 5,78,589 farm ponds. Andhra Pradesh has built 3,11,361 farm ponds, which is the highest by any State.
He is planning to build 20,000 check dams in an year. AP government, along with ISRO, has prepared an action plan to meet drinking water and irrigation needs in drought-prone areas, programme will be launched in Rayalaseema region soon.

8. Technology in Administration:
Our Chief is a big time believer of Technology here are some of the innovative things that make him so special. It uses IOT first state in India to do so, many CMs don't even understand what IOT is. Many other states in India want to copy the same.

It’s 100% cashless, every house is connected with AP Fibre(Government Internet and Cable Connection), Water conservation, 100% ODF, Village is completely WiFi enabled, every citizen has a bank account and a solid waste management system.

USIBC transformative CM for CBN
Best CM Award from Bharatiya Chatra Sansad
AP is No: 3 in tourism in India
14. Sector Wise Awards for AP from the past 3 years
I can say no other state in India has achieved so much as AP did in the past 3 years.
A small video on what AP has achieved in the past three years. Story of state that is trying hard after a painful division by Congis. I have no doubt under the leadership of Modi world will be talking about India and in India our state will be leading the reforms from front under the leadership of CBN.
Some views from my friends from Andrapradesh :
Get to know what’s happening in your state and then comment about the leadership and all, most of the people i spoke don’t even know what’s happening they just comment as there is problem with CBN ruling the state. Problem with our people is vested interests drive our state people don’t like this man for no reason. Many other states people admire him so much and want him as their CM, people of TN would happily take him as CM if offered they are the one who knows it better about the leadership Crisis. Some people of our state feel a actor turned politician a +2 dropout can change our state. Some feel South India’s King of Corruption can change this state. Grow up people when we have a leader who can turn things around why do you people look for options
Is Chandrababu Naidu the worst CM of Andhra Pradesh?
Why do many people of Andhra Pradesh oppose Chandrababu Naidu while the people from other states like him?
Why has Chandrababu Naidu chosen "Amaravati" as the capital of Andhra Pradesh?
If by development, if you mean Spending millions -Yes.
But, I don't see any sustainable growth in andhrapradesh, the promotional video for Amaravathi(The Newly formed state’s capital) where there are tons of laborers working without basic Safety equipment is just a sign.
If you are planning to build a singapore, you must start building a singapore, you dont build foundations on somalian laour laws and expect the outcome to be of singaporean.
Mr. Naidu, failed to improve Basic Education and Medical facilities to the working class, increasing number of collages is not the answer, they must improve quality of education.
you don’t pay government hospitals to carryout medical treatment on behalf of state and take pride in it, you develop your own medical infra to meet the requirements.
what I Meant by these is that, Mr. Naidu failed miserably, yes the Big Billions he is spending obviously will give birth to few concrete structures and a few awards will follow with all the marketing he is doing, But they are not sustainable.
The state is failing bad, with the attitude of the party members and I dont think the way babu horse traded MLA’s is for the states developemnt.
This is question is hard to answer, as AP case is unique, there is no other government/ state to compare or check benchmark of the performance with.
May be the right question
Is CM doing his best to develop state?
My answer is No. All AP needs is a assembly and secretariat. CBN fooled people to believe that they need a city . I see this 5 term as satisfying is power hunger and putting his name on state history.
People expand cities to meet there needs. People don’t build cities to meet there needs..
People move where ever they want to live, not where govt wants them to move/ live…
Take any city for example.. Hyderabad / Warangal/ Vijayawada…
Vijayawada started as hubs( trade hub ( clothes, gold, wholesale), service hub ( hospitals, railways and automotive )
as demand grows more people moved in to live in city. As they move in they build city living spaces ( a grocery store, clinic, hair dresser, bus routes, schools, colleges and hospitals etc…with in every 5km radius) Eventually cities started to grown in 3D (up flyovers and down in ( tunnels)).
Any sensible leader would have acquired land for industries, office spaces and used the rest for development of existing infrastructure ( either in Guntur or Vijayawada), instead CBN is on spree of spending money for roads and infrastructure for new capital.
You can argue, other states have developed new cities, even Hyd has a Malaysia township..! Yes, but does people from Hyderabad stay in Malaysia township ..No!, and it is only successful because it is close to Hi tech city. Check about Singapore Township, Hyderabad - Wikipedia in Hyderabad ( lol another CBN initiative in Hyderabad), it has less than 35% occupancy..
Remember Rajiv Swagruha in Hyderabad that's exactly what will happen to Amaravathy ( unless every one from Hyderabad is selling properties and move to Amaravathy or every one in Vijayawada Guntur, for no reason but properties in Amaravathy)…
2.
Roads:
YSR spoiled Andhra coast line ( fisheries) by building ports, CBN is spoling Guntur and Krishna
districts by building ring roads ( crop land which is turing into layouts / commercial crop land).
instead, CBN should have created dry port Dry port - Wikipedia in Vijayawada, create industrial corridor ( Industrial buildings developed and managed by govt), unlike issuing SEZ lands to business man… These kind of activities would have helped AP’s economy.
*CBN is trying to give to much weightage to digital policies and techy savy polices?. How much they work on the ground is very big question. But they are very good initiatives.
For agricultural sector there was very little help from this govt than expected.
Their is lot to much money wastage on the temporary projects like temporary capital buildings and other stuff.
His frequently changing tone about special status irritated many people from caste.
His too much interest on caste equations may cost him too much to him in the near future.
Finally his capital building project is been outsorced to many countries. Every time he speaks about some or other countries. The biggest thing ap needs now is revenue genarator and not that keeps state in revenue deficit.
Their were too many hopes in him like getting good deals done from centre but even that is very much little done in past 3years
*I think no. He is trying to develop only a particular community in the state. The entire government functionary is filled with nearly 80% of people from the same caste. It is clearly a sense of nepotism and crony capitalism this Andhra Pradesh government is suffering from.
There are no signs of progress on the front of Polavaram a massive irrigation project which is much needed for the farmers of Andhra Pradesh. Coming to the development of infrastructure… it is better to talk as much less as possible. Apart from boastings and chest thumping a from the government., nothing has changed in the ground level. Again I don't want everything to be changed in no time, but I don't see any sign of progress yet.
The third major area where Andhra Pradesh seeks development is its stature within India. I would just site an example of how humiliating the remarks are from recent Maki associates head Fumihiko Maki about ease of doing business in the ‘sunrise’ state. Fumihiko Maki Criticizes Indian State Government After Amaravati City Contest.
Literally he compared the transparency levels of AP and Bihar and criticized the AP government fo its inconsistent overthrow in the capital design. We know that CBN who is heading the state is tech savvy and master mind.. but somehow he is not able to deliver the best out of him. He seems to be more weak in terms of political will and determination required for the state.
But the state is badly in need of a leader who is willing to take risks and break the line to push forward the people of state as a whole.
*A big Yes, But the perspective will vary from person to person. Many of us want instant developments. But no one wants to work constantly. Coming to the point, his major work which deserves appreciation is Polavaram Project. Though it is funded by central government, his dedication is noteworthy. He set a target of 500 days to complete the project. He is implementing PDS in a very effective way. When it comes to leveraging technology for governance, he is second to none. He has been using CM Dash Board first of its kind in India. Through which he can track ground level developments and can solve problems. He had also linked two largest rivers, namely Godavari and Krishna through Pattiseema project. One cannot doubt his work and dedication.
*Development will be in different ways.It includes Agricultural,Information Technology, resources etc.Now lets talk about these three main developments first.
*Information Technology-This is taken as main motto by the Cheif Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu. Many companies had shown interest in the new capital Amaravati, but now very few had come forward to invest in the new capital. Now putting the companies investment aside,CBN was trying his best in getting the companies into AP which is appreciable.
*Resource-Electricity,water etc come under resources.AP is lucky because after bifurcation according to the bifurcation act we get large amount of electricity as a share. This is the reason why there is no power cut from last 3years.Now AP is also selling the electricity to Telangana.
The next one is water source. We have to talk about this definitely, large amount of Godavari water which is being wasted is now connected to krishna river and being utilised. This is a revolutionary step by CBN.
*Agricultural Development-Frankly to say CBN doesn't care about farmers,he totally concentrates on capital and its development.Farmers had a great loss because they believed that CBN is going to clear all their loans and thats not even being implemented properly.
Guntur is famous worldwide for its spicy mirchi and largest mirchi yard. Now farmers are facing severe problems here. There is no proper rate, the rate for which the farmers were selling was too low and it is being sufficient for the transport of load only.Forget about profit, they are in great loss.
Development doesn't mean about big buildings, wide roads, airports, hotels etc.We can say the state is developed only when we see the people happy with the government. But what is happening now!
NOTE :
What TDP’s exit from NDA means for Chandrababu Naidu and 2019 Lok Sabha elections :-
" The hope that regional satraps can edge out the BJP and the Congress as the single largest political formation has pushed Andhra Pradesh CM to the political gamble."
What’s on Chandrababu Naidu’s mind? 1996, for sure. The former United Front convenor would like a repeat of the political situation two decades ago. Because that remains his best bet to become kingmaker, if not king, and ensure goodies for his state, Andhra Pradesh.
The morning after he quit the NDA, Naidu spoke of the role that regional parties coukd play to safeguard the interests of their states. It is obvious that Naidu, after having been in a relationship with the BJP twice, first under AB Vajpayee and now with Narendra Modi, has fallen back on his default option – to push ahead on New Delhi’s “stepmotherly” approach and the need to increase regional clout if states have to get their due.
What has upset Naidu is that with the BJP, there has been no give and take. Photo:PTI
It is this hope – or rather a calculated risk – that regional satraps can together edge out the BJP and the Congress as the single largest political formation that has pushed Naidu to take a political gamble. The plan is to go to town painting the BJP as the party that did a Congress to Andhra.
In 2014, the Congress was severely punished for dividing united Andhra Pradesh against their wish, and did not win a single MLA or MP seat in the residuary state. The TDP plan is to ensure that the same kind of electoral treatment is meted out to the BJP. Four years ago, in an alliance with the TDP, the BJP won two Lok Sabha seats from Andhra.
What has upset Naidu is that with the BJP, there has been no give and take. He supported the NDA government on both GST and demonetisation, and yet got little in return for the state. His inability to secure an appointment with the PM for a year in 2017 was seen by his party as a personal affront. This when the PM took time out to meet his political rival in Andhra, YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
What’s interesting is that much of this quest for power is taking place under the garb of cooperative federalism. Just over the weekend, Naidu’s neighbour K Chandrasekhar Rao used the same catchphrase to announce his leap into national politics. Does Naidu’s divorce from the BJP mean he will flirt with the idea of the Third Front floated by KCR?
Knowing Naidu, he is unlikely to jump onto such a bandwagon immediately. Certainly not under KCR’s leadership, because the Telangana chief minister was his junior when he was a part of the Telugu Desam. KCR was, in fact, the transport minister in Naidu's cabinet in the 1990s.
Sources in the TDP say Naidu is convinced the BJP will struggle to get a majority on its own in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Plan A is to then extract its pound of flesh and funds with a BJP that will need the TDP’s support to form the Union government.
Plan B is a situation where the regional parties have enough number of seats to form a government with outside support from either the BJP or the Congress. A United Front kind of situation.
Either way, it will be a win-win for the TDP and Andhra, believes Naidu. At a personal level too, 2019 is an important election for the Andhra chief minister. Sources say his son Nara Lokesh, who at present is Andhra’s IT minister, will be elevated to the top job if the party returns to power.
That will mean Naidu would like to move to Delhi in a powerful position. That would mean either the top job or at least one of the top four ministries in the Union cabinet.
Naidu’s emphasis on being the “senior-most politician” in the country – though he seems to have forgotten the likes of HD Deve Gowda and an ailing M Karunanidhi – is an attempt to tomtom his CV. “I have been in political life for 40 years and have vast experience,” he said.
But will a Naidu who has enjoyed power in Delhi for four years, only to relinquish it in the last year, have credibility among the people? That will be the challenge he will face.
In 2014, he had promised to convert Andhra into a Singapore and a Washington DC. Today those dreams exist only in fancy powerpoint presentations.
The people of Andhra know the script Naidu is trying to play out. The question they will need to answer is if they give the TDP 25 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats, will it mean acche din for them, or will it mean another spell of a TDP-BJP marriage and a divorce close to 2024? Or a rickety coalition that spends most of its time infighting and politicking?
OPINION :-
Granting special status to Andhra Pradesh not viable, says Nitin Gadkari :-
"If we give special status to Andhra today, another state will ask for it tomorrow, and then another, says Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari."
File photo of Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari. (PTI)
On a day the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) pulled out of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari ruled out granting special status to Andhra Pradesh because it was “constitutionally not viable” and “practically not possible”.
“We have given many packages to Andhra Pradesh. If we give special status to Andhra today, another state will ask for it tomorrow, and then another (the day after). If everyone demands special status, it will not be practically possible. So we told them that we will cooperate with them, and we are willing to provide them with funds… It is unfortunate,” he said at the News18 Rising India summit.
Agreeing with his cabinet colleague, Union minister of railways and coal Piyush Goyal said the Andhra issue had become more attached to sentimentality than reality. “The Centre has fulfilled all responsibility towards Andhra Pradesh....But you can’t have a position where you keep asking for money and don’t do work on the ground,” he added.
Goyal said the Centre has given Rs 2,500 crore for the Amravati project but little progress was seen. Asked if the TDP will return to the NDA fold, he quipped: “Politics is all about possibility.”
At the same event, Gadkari admitted that the highways ministry will not be able to meet the target of laying 41km of roads per day it had set in 2017-18. However, he said the ministry will achieve the target of building 28km of roads per day by March 30. “And next year, we will construct 40km per day. This rate will be the highest in the world,” he said.
The Union minister then went on to inform the gathering that the 14-lane Delhi-Dasna stretch of the National Highway-24 and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway have been completed, and will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi between April 8 and 10.
Goyal, for his part, said his ministry was working on bringing the charm of the Railways back without focusing specifically on Rajdhanis, Shatabdis and Durontos. “Our priority is the poor railway passenger,” he added.
He said the railway ministry was doubling the average freight speed from the present 23.5km/hr to at least 47 km/hr, and on the passenger side from 46km/hr to 71 km/hr.

Chandrababu Naidu meets Islamic groups after TDP-BJP break-up :-
"The move viewed as an attempt to woo the minorities after his Telugu Desam Party severed its ties with the Bharatiya Janata Party."

Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu met several Islamic groups on Monday in a move viewed as an attempt to woo the minorities after his Telugu Desam Party (TDP) severed its ties with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The Muslim leaders, who came to meet the TDP chief at the Praja Darbar Hall adjacent to his official home in Amaravati, hailed him for breaking the alliance with the BJP.
Naidu said he joined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the Centre despite ideological differences because he wanted to secure maximum benefits for the state, which was reeling from losses after Telangana was carved out of Andhra Pradesh in 2014.
“I had to take the decision in the larger interests of the state. However, I had never compromised on the secular principles,” he said.
The TDP severed its four-year alliance with the BJP over the NDA government’s refusal to grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
The TDP chief alleged that the BJP has now declared a war on him and his government.
“What mistake did I commit? Is it a crime to ask for keeping promises made in the AP reorganisation act? Did I ask for the moon? With whom does the BJP want to fight with? With me? Or with the people of Andhra Pradesh?” he asked.
Granting special status to Andhra Pradesh not viable, says Nitin Gadkari
Opposition calls for anti-BJP unity as TDP quits NDA
He said his party had come out of the NDA because it failed to do justice to the state.
“Now, the real colours of the BJP are exposed. It is trying to destabilise my government by instigating the YSR Congress and the Jana Sena Party,” he alleged.
Reacting to Naidu’s meeting, state BJP president K Hari Babu said the chief minister’s move to woo Muslims didn’t surprise him.
“He has come out of the NDA only with an eye on the elections, as he has to blame the Centre to cover up his failures. And he needs to tap the Muslim vote bank to gain some ground in the state,” he said.
The chief minister reminded the Islamic groups that the TDP had opposed attempts of the Narendra Modi government to push through the “triple talaq” bill in Parliament.
“Ours was the only party in the NDA to resist the triple talaq bill that was aimed at interfering in the personal law of Muslims,” he said.
He promised that the TDP would fight for more reservation in jobs and education for Muslims.
“Right from the beginning, our government has been working from the interests of minorities. In the latest budget, we have allocated Rs 1,100 crore for minority welfare, which was unprecedented in the history of the state,” Naidu said.
The Muslim representatives, who came to meet him under the leadership of Vijayawada (West) legislator Mohammad Jaleel Khan, appreciated the chief minister’s move.
“We shall join hands with the TDP to fight against the BJP,” Khan said.
" FINAL QUESTION AND ANSWER" :-
Did PM Modi really cheat Andhra Pradesh? After knowing the inside story, everyone from Andhra Pradesh will salute PM Modi!
From some days there is great hue and cry in the political arena regarding not giving special status to Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and its party TDP is continually pressuring the central government for grant of special status to the state. They are continually targeting BJP for breaking alliance with them if their demand will not be fulfilled. Even the opposition found it a good chance to once again target Modi government and taking the advantage of movement jumped in and start showing their support for special status to the state.
"But is the special status demand of Chandrababu Naidu justified? Let me throw some light on it."
Prior to Narendra Modi Government, Money collected in the form of Taxes are shared with Centre Keeping Major Share and States Left with around 40% Of Share. “Special Status” System was there to financially help those states which are Geographically tough terrains like Himalayan region states or those states who are facing National calamity more than often. In Special Status Ratio of Tax Sharing changes to 90% for States and 10% for Centre. Sonia Gandhi while dividing the state for Votes announced a fake promise that we will provide you special Status. But Congress never gave that.
Post-2014, Narendra Modi Government accepted 14th Finance Commission and implemented it which reversed the Tax Sharing Concept. Now States are getting 60% instead of 40%. This increased huge money for States to work for the welfare of people. The same 14th Finance Commission removed the concept of “Special Status” after reversing Tax Sharing Ratio. This Implementation is known to all CM but unfortunately, Richest CM of Nation picks it.
Narendra Modi government has never cheated Andhra Pradesh or made any fake promise. The government even never denied 90-10 Ratio, Central Government Just asked How and Where they need money? State till now never provided that answer for which it is answerable to the government.
People of Andhra must accept the truth rather than getting trapped in Local Media Owner Chandrababu Naidu. They should know what central government is doing for Andhra Pradesh. They must know that Modi government is doing their best. Till now Modi government has extended so many facilities to Andhra Pradesh such as Naval Air Station, Missile Manufacturing, DRDO Facility, NOA Range, Troops centre, BEL Manufacturing, Airports, 7 Institutes,- 950+ Medical seats, DD Kendra, AIR Station, Passport center, Rs 2500 Cr for Amaravati and many more.

For meeting revenue deficit of the state the Centre has already paid Rs 4,000 crore and only Rs 138 crore are remaining. In what could be a windfall to the exchequer, Apart from this Andhra Pradesh is all set to receive Rs 24,271.91 crore as additional funding from the Centre. This was made possible with the latest special financial package announced by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley that increased the Centre’s share in both Central Aided Projects (CAP) and External Aided Projects (EAP) to 90 per cent from the existing 60 per cent. In the current financial year, the state government is set to receive a bonanza as the Centre agreed to give Rs 7,336 crore to compensate for 2015-16 and 2016-17 financial years. The Centre also agreed to provide 30 per cent extra funding in all CAP and EAP schemes from 2015 to 2020 as part of special financial package.
GoI led by our PM Modi has also accorded a special package to AP by Rs.22,113cr. It will be paid to AP, as Revenue Deficit Grant for the yr 2015-2020. 90% of Funding for Aided Projects will be provided to Andhra Pradesh under special Package designed with special care. Andhra Pradesh is also one step closer to becoming the electronic vehicle hub of the world.
Friends, GoI has Accorded A special package to AP by GoI led by our PM Modi --Rs.22,113cr. Is to be Paid to AP, as Revenue Deficit Grant for the yr 2015-20.
90% of Funding for Aided Projects to AP
A Special Package designed with Spl care - For Andhra Pradesh
If we compare this with other states Chhattisgarh got 1,800 crores in 12 years for Naya Raipur capital. Amaravati got 3400 crores in 4 years. Centre took over Polavaram project from state and made it a national project. Crying just for Politics is not good. People have to see how state performed.
If we access all this on the basis of per capita income we found that Per capita income of Andhra Pradesh – Rs 137,376, Per capita income of Uttar Pradesh – Rs 80,253, Per capita income of Bihar – Rs 63,200, Total central tax receipt 20 L Cr, Chandrababu wanted addition 5L Cr fund for AP. For overall development of the nation, every state is to be developed equally and the central government has to look upon it from all the angles. Modi government wants to allocate this fund to poorer States like UP, Bihar where it is much needed.

Modi wants to allocate this fund to poorer States like UP,Bihar
So from all this one thing is quite clear that Centre is fully responding back to the need of the state. Since independence till date, no state has received as many favours as that was given to Andhra Pradesh. Modi government is doing the best for Andhra Pradesh. TDP’s move is completely a political manoeuvre. Since 2014 BJP ruled in State & Center both. But now only Chandrababu has realized that BJP did nothing for Andhra Pradesh. This was completely expected from Chandrababu Naidu as we know the state is going to face elections next year.
This is not even the first time when TDP dumped BJP. Before also in 2004 TDP had dumped BJP. But Modiji once again trusted in Chandrababu Naidu and now he is showing his true colours.
