1. #1YearofModi2: Prime Minister Narendra Modi writes open letter to people of India (Full Text):30-May-2020 : PMO India : Report Card..

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote an open letter to the people of India as the BJP government is completing one year in office in its second term.

“From 2014 to 2019, India’s stature rose significantly. The dignity of the poor was enhanced. The nation achieved financial inclusion, free gas and electricity connections, total sanitation coverage, and made progress towards ensuring housing for all,” writes Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Here's the full text of Prime Minister’s letter to people of India

My fellow Indians,

This day last year, after several decades, the people of the country voted back a full-term government with a full majority. Once again, I bow to the 130 crore people of India and the democratic ethos of our nation. Your affection, goodwill and active cooperation have given new energy, and inspiration. During normal times, I would have been in your midst. However, present circumstances do not permit that. That is why I seek your blessings through this letter.

Back in 2014, the people voted for a substantive transformation. In the last five years, the nation saw how the administrative apparatus broke itself free of status quo and from the swamp of corruption as well as misgovernance. True to the spirit of Antyodaya, the lives of millions have been transformed.

From 2014 to 2019, India’s stature rose significantly. The dignity of the poor was enhanced. The nation achieved financial inclusion, free gas and electricity connections, total sanitation coverage, and made progress towards ensuring housing for all.

India demonstrated its mettle through the surgical strike and air strike. At the same time, old demands such One Rank One Pension, One Nation One Tax, and better minimum support price (MSP) for farmers were fulfilled.

In 2019, Indians voted not merely for continuity but also with a dream of taking India to new heights, of making India a global leader. Today, 130 crore people feel involved and integrated in the development trajectory of the nation. The light of Jan Shakti and Rashtra Shakti has ignited the entire nation. Powered by the mantra of Sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas, India is marching forward in all spheres.

In the last one year, some decisions were widely discussed and remain etched in public discourse. Article 370 furthered the spirit of national unity and integration. The Ram Mandir judgment, delivered unanimously by Supreme Court, brought an amicable end to a debate persisting for centuries. The barbaric practice of instant triple talaq has been confined to the dustbin of history.
Amendment to the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) was an expression of India’s spirit of inclusiveness. The creation of the post of the chief of defence staff (CDS) was a long-pending reform that has improved coordination among the armed forces. At the same time, India has stepped up preparations for Mission Gaganyaan.

Empowering the poor, farmers, women and youth has remained our priority. PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi now includes all farmers. In one year, more than Rs 72,000 crore has been deposited in the accounts of over 9.5 crore farmers. Jal Jeevan Mission will ensure supply of potable drinking water through piped connections to over 15 crore rural households.

A huge campaign of free vaccination is being conducted for better health of our 50 crore livestock. For the first time, farmers, farm labourers, small shopkeepers and workers in the unorganised sector are assured the provision of a regular monthly pension of Rs 3,000 after age 60.
Besides the facility of availing bank loans, a separate department has also been created for fishermen. Several other decisions will boost the blue economy.

Similarly, it has been decided to constitute a Vyapari Kalyan Board for the timely resolution of problems of traders. Higher quantum of financial assistance is being provided to more than seven crore women attached to self-help groups (SHGs). Recently, the loans without guarantee for SHGs have been doubled to Rs 20 lakh from Rs 10 lakh.

We have begun the construction of more than 400 new Ekalavya model residential schools keeping tribal welfare in mind. Several people-friendly laws have been ushered in during the last year. Parliament has broken its record in terms of productivity. As a result, whether it be the Consumer Protection Act, the amendment to Chit Fund Law, or laws to provide more protection to women, children and the divyang, their passage in the Parliament was expedited.

As a result of GoI policies, the rural-urban gap is shrinking. For the first time, the number of rural Indians using internet is 10% more than the number of urban Indians. Every day of this year, my government has worked round the clock with vigour, taking and implementing these decisions.
As we were moving ahead at fast pace in the fulfilment of hopes and aspirations of our countrymen, the coronavirus pandemic engulfed India. While India has economic resources and state-of-the-art healthcare systems, it is also besieged with problems amid a vast population and limited resources. Many feared that India will become a global problem. But today, through sheer confidence and resilience, you have transformed the way the world looks at us. You have proven that the collective strength and potential of Indians is unparalleled even when compared to more prosperous nations.
Be it clapping and lighting a lamp, or the honouring of our Covid warriors by India’s armed forces, to the janta curfew and adherence to rules during the nationwide lockdown, on every occasion you have shown that Ek Bharat is the guarantee for Shrestha Bharat.

In a crisis of this magnitude, it can certainly not be claimed that no one suffered any inconvenience or discomfort. Our labourers, migrant workers, artisans and craftsmen, hawkers and many other fellow countrymen have undergone tremendous suffering.

However, we have to take care to ensure that inconveniences we are facing do not turn into disasters. Hence, it is very important for every Indian to follow all rules and guidelines. We have displayed patience so far, and we should continue to do so. This is one of the important reasons for India being safer and in a better state than many other countries. This is a long battle, but we have started traversing on the path of victory, and victory is our collective resolve.

In the last few days, a super cyclone has wreaked havoc in parts of West Bengal and Odisha. Here too, the resilience of the people of these states is noteworthy. Their courage inspires the people of India.

At such a time, there is also a widespread debate on how the economies of various countries, including India’s, will recover. However, given the way India has surprised the world with its unity and resolve in the fight against Covid-19, there is a firm belief that we will also set an example in economic revival. In the economic domain, 130 crore Indians can not only surprise the world, but also inspire it.

It is the need of the hour that we must become self-reliant. We have to move forward based on our own abilities, in our own way, and there is only one way to do it Atmanirbhar Bharat, or Self-Reliant India. The recent Rs 20 lakh crore package given for Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (ABA) is a major step in this direction. This initiative will usher in a new era of opportunities for every Indian.

The fragrance of Indian soil, along with the sweat, hard work and talent of our workers will create products that will reduce India’s dependence on imports and will move it towards self-reliance.
It is the strength of your blessings in the last six years that has made the nation take historic decisions and progress rapidly in the last one year. However, I am also aware that there is a lot that needs to be done. There are many challenges and problems that our country faces. I am working day and night. There could be deficiencies in me but there is nothing that our country lacks. So, I believe in you, your strength and your abilities even more than I believe in myself. The source of strength for my resolve is you, your support, blessings and affection.

Due to the pandemic, we certainly face a crisis. But for us, this is also a time for a firm resolve. We must always remember that the present and future of 130 crore will never be dictated by an adversity. We will decide our present and our future. We will move ahead on the path of progress and victory will be ours.

In Sanskrit, is said, ‘Kritm mein dakshine haste, jayo mein satya ahitya’ if we have action and duty on one hand, then success is assured in the other.

With prayers for our country’s success, I bow to you once again. My heartiest wishes to you and your family. Stay healthy, stay safe. Stay aware, stay informed.
Your pradhan Sevak

2. ##Untold story of Invasion and Destruction of Tibet by Communist China : 29-May-2020 : Meera Sharma : Organiser : Media Report.

##"No country has stood up and actively opposed the grave and open human rights violations in Tibet by Communist China. Law of jungle still prevails here as the bigger fish goes on eating the smaller fish, with no protest from the world."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Tibet’s occupation by China has been the most violent episodes of 20th century forgotten by the world

#The Physical Invasion :

It includes deadly plots, which it shouldn't have. It includes conspiracies, economic ambitions, which it shouldn't include. It includes murders in masses, which should have been out of the question! Because it is Tibet we're talking about, it is Buddhism we're referring to, and it is the world's forbidden city we're calling out to. All this started getting buried in the past, centuries ago, but the suffering took an even more dreadful shape in the 19th century by the great empire of 'The Republic Of China'. It seemed the law of jungle still prevailed. The bigger fish goes on eating, the smaller fish – no protest.

Taiwan, Tibet, Hong Kong etc., the list of the countries is long but well in the clutches of the Republic. To understand what causes the Chinese to be so anxious and ambitious to gain lands and grow, can only be understood through their mindsets which are ruled by many historical state of affairs that came their way moulding them into who they are today. It also becomes essential to understand this for the futures to come and to understand what to expect.

According to the New York Times report, the three points that the Chinese leaders give their people, which makes them strive for more than others, and to see the world through a narrow mindset are, first, 100 years of humiliation by the western imperialists, second, ten years of unrest under the Cultural Revolution, third, 25 years of an economic miracle under reforms and openness introduced by Denzin Xiaoping. The first two creates isolation from the west and the world, whereas the third glorifies the self-made efforts for reforms rather than trusting the country with anyone else. 'Fear of chaos has developed conservatism and the nation's shrewd ambitions.'

As researched by The College of Staten Island's Modern China Studies Group, Chinese people are consumed by anxiety about more mundane issues. As one popular saying in China goes, "the reform on the state-owned enterprises is to keep you off work, the housing reform is to empty your pocket, the educational reform is to drive your parents crazy, and the medical health reform is to send you to the grave ahead of time." This showcases how the Chinese community looks at the world beyond their borders.

##The Cultural Invasion :

Pragmatism, meritocracy, Confucianism, historical longevity, population, individual specialization, etc., and many others are terms that lead to one another in Chinese social and political mindsets. The baseline being lots of competition. It is very well put up by an old Chinese citizen 'You have to maximize your maximization so that you can keep your advantages and get more.' Continuing which, they put through that 'when you grow up with that kind of continual tug-of-war of your advantages vs anybody else's advantages, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the whole modus vivendi of that; it just carries over to any other part of life. And when a couple of million others have grown up in the same way, that attitude and outlook become self-reinforcing and self-propagating.'

The above paragraphs form perfect justifications to what Chinese have been doing with Tibet, Hong Kong, Macau and now Taiwan. We live in a world of cooperation, rights and identities which are and must be respected. Living in historical speculations and eras managed by a few leaders can only lead to one thing, that is, the end of the present and the future.

This is the way China did gain the body of Tibet but lost its soul; it gained the beautiful lands of Tibet but lost Buddhism, the highest attraction.

The reason behind is the materialistic beliefs because that is where they compete. What do I want, what is most beneficial to my conscious self, what do I want now, tomorrow, and 20 years from now. Strategically and practically are the moves planned by the Chinese. They put a lot of emphasis on what they call 'reality'. But one of the highest religion Buddhism emphasizes long term questions like, "what after death, the meaning of existence.' Something which cannot be proved by shrewd business strategies and experiments because the short term questions they are focused on, for examples is 'What about my grandchild?'

No wonder the understanding of Buddhism was out of the question for them and appeared loss-making to them. But, the Chinese were intelligent enough to get through their ultimate goal of 'unification' in steps starting from the 1950s and ending with the total takeover in 1959 by striking an ideological debate. The idea was to end Buddhist ideology through the slow poison of leaving them uneducated and firing 'thamzing' (Class struggle).

### Camouflaging their crimes :

"Tibet was invaded, pillaged, raped, and destroyed. It had no armies, no weapons, no tanks, but their monasteries were robbed, priceless historical and religious scriptures burned, monks tortured, and nuns raped before being murdered."

*China’s has used force and violence to suppress the Tibetan freedom movement and diplomatic manoeuvres to silence the world

The starting incidents can make you laugh but also strike right on the problem of Chinese materialistic ideology! When in 1953 a group of 10 Chinese soldiers in Khaki arrived in Sakya, Tibet, they were shown disapproval by the local people clapping and cursing which was a common way of dogpa (negation of evil). The soldiers, rather than understanding the insult, joined them in clapping, amazed by the welcome they had just received! It was a thing to wonder for them that insult and disapproval can also be so peaceful and non-violent. The red materialism was far away from such phenomena.

Series of diplomatic steps were taken intelligently by the Chinese to gain sympathy and feeling for the Republic. Some of which included gaining the trust of Aristocrats and the upper-class people after the Seventeen point agreement (1951) which gave Tibet the freedom to be autonomous. The aristocrats were promised their power and status would prevail forever even after the reforms take place, and it might as well increase. These people were chosen for special tours to the industrialized regions of China for them to return, impressed by the Red form of governance.

The irony is that communism was built with great respect for labourers, daily wage workers, lower class common people but rather the communist state was using factors and people to fulfil its ambitions against which and whom, it had stood up for once: aristocracy. Flaws are inevitable.

#### Slow poisoning of Tibet :

"Tibetan cities were divided into teams of underemployed Chinese officials. Criminals of Tibet who would work with cruelty were employed as heads of these groups as they were offered positions to pay off old scores. "

Seventeen point agreement in 1951: Tibetans were handed over materialistic freedom by the Chinese giving them political and cultural freedom in an autonomous region. Unaware that Tibetan independence was always based more on their life and culture than the law and history.

Surprisingly the economic condition of the peasants and herdsmen of the non-communist state of Tibet was far better than the ROC. Maybe this became one of the reasons why labourers were not focused on for ideological transformations as it seemed practically impossible to show a better system than the one prevalent in Tibet for them.

The next set of transformation lot(group) after the aristocrats started hanging Mao's clay statues in their homes secretly, no need to mention how influenced they were, came the young minds when in 1956 blue coloured uniformed personnel came to Tibet to open 'Red Schools', and to start youth organizations while politely asking Tibetans to merge traditional schools with these. Of course, the first to admit were the children of the aristocrats and ruling class of Tibet, going well with Pecking's (Beijing till 1979) strategy of the ruling class being made to play an important role in bringing up a peaceful revolution. Almost all the local rulers unconsciously supported this backstabbing strategy, unaware of what they are yet to see.

The aristocrats were paid for their patriotism and cooperation. The labourers were paid to build the military road for the Chinese, and not shockingly children were paid to attend the red school monthly. All these incidents and practices are stark opposite to what the red book stands for. The silver dollars' da Yuan' exchanged pockets in Tibet to build 'silver dollar road' from Beijing to Tibet.
The most intelligent among the people from Tibet were undoubtedly the peasants, labourers and the common man who was doubtful from the beginning and dismissed the new idea, though still working for the 'da Yuan'. They did not give in their ideology.

##### Subjugation, Divide and rule :

"The idea of the Chinese was to end Buddhist ideology through the slow poison of leaving them uneducated and firing 'thamzing' (Class struggle)."

*“The Burning Monk,” Thich Quang Duc, burned himself to protest against China’s occupation of Tibet, use of force and violence

History does repeat itself. The way labourers and common men fought against the aristocrats to develop a classless society, the warrior tribe of Tibet, Khampas, in turn, fought against the Chinese for their freedom. The shift is clear, and the ideology of the red book appears more flawed than ever.
After this began the backstabbing by the Chinese, starting with the aristocrats and high-class people who were the first one to be used. They were thrown to the jails after calling them on the pretext of attending an educational programme. But opposite to that, the leaders were captured on the charge of treason. This disarmed the local people of their leaders for the Chinese to introduce the reforms of 'unification' finally.

After this is what began the 'the dark time'. Tibet was invaded, pillaged, raped, and destroyed. It had no armies, no weapons, no tanks, but their monasteries were robbed, priceless historical and religious scriptures burned, monks tortured, and nuns raped before being murdered. Tibetans were forced not to meditate, but to work in the fields. It was a common and painful site for the Tibetans to see llamas carrying wastes and excreta to manure the Chinese fields instead of the beautiful sites of them chanting 'Om Mani Padme hum' or silently meditating. This is an example of one of the greatest violation of human rights and freedom of a human.

Soon, the cities were divided into various teams of underemployed Chinese officials, and it should not be shocking at this point, the criminals of Tibet were employed as head of the groups. They were offered such positions to pay off old scores and no doubt, they then worked precisely the way they were told, with cruelty. At this point, the first point of Chinese competitive and anxious nature, with what we started, comes into play. To develop such competitive feelings, they were unable to use the three points of history for Tibetans. Still, they made different teams among the cities to compete with one another declaring and awarding the most patriotic and hardworking labour and humiliating the last. The creation of China's artificial copy has been in process.

###### Vilifying Tibet and its belief system :

Tibetan Religion was called poison; their gods were referred to as "mud images" and the holy monks as bloodsuckers. After all such preaching, Tibetans were told they have freedom for religion! This showcases that Buddhism was slow poisoned, the process of which is still on. As the children got gradually educated, the ideology of atheism was attempted to seep deep down into them.
The life since then in the most peaceful lands of the world has narrowed down to only two things: Beijing's re-education policy and hard labour. This continues in the present with the least international support for the Forbidden City.

No doubt no country stood up actively opposing this grave and open human rights violation happening because it is a little of Gold, Uranium and other metals plentiful in those previously closed lands. With this I repeat - It seems the law of jungle still prevails, the bigger fish goes on eating, the smaller fish – no protest.

This fight with Tibet started ideologically, which witnessed a considerable number of ironies to communism. No other example I believe captures its imperfections best than the sacrifice of one peaceful nation. The baseline remains that materialism doesn't succumb to any ideology and never will it in the future. What always rules and should is one's freedom to choice and independence of lands, and this demands international unity above matter and money as both of them must complement peace and not separate the two.

3. ###Striving for Indigenous Excellence : 20-May-2020 : Prof. P. Kanagasabapathi :Organiser : Media Report.

"It is time for us to take up initiatives to evolve a comprehensive and suitable Bharatiya model, based on the principles of Swadeshi to lead us to self-reliance"

*A self-reliant Bharat will be based on 5 pillars of Economy, Infrastructure, System, Demography and Demand

The world has been fighting the coronavirus for the last four months, with three lakh lives being lost already and the economies facing serious crisis. This period is considered as the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s. Hence IMF predicts that the global economic growth in 2020 would fall down to -3 percent.

The United States is witnessing the highest number of deaths. The ‘richer’ countries of Europe have already lost thousands of lives. The economic impact on many of these countries are severe, with the Government dependency being the only resort. The invisible virus has severely shaken their confidence.

But Bharat presents a completely different scenario, appreciated by all across the World in its fight against COVID -19. The death rates are very low compared to other countries, because the steps taken are bold and timely. Hence the World Health Organisation and other global bodies are showering encomiums.

Initially when the virus set in, we were not prepared like all other countries, as it was unexpected. We did not have the Personal Protective Equipment and had to depend on imports. But within a short time, our people started making it. As a result, we now make three lakh units daily and have emerged as the second largest manufacturer in the World.

This is the Swadeshi approach leading to self-reliance. Field studies in different parts of our country over more than two decades indicate that it is this approach that has taken us thus far during the last seven decades, in spite of many difficulties.

At the time of Independence, we were a poor and underdeveloped nation. But after seventy years now, we are among the top two fastest growing economies. London Business School had estimated that there were 85 million entrepreneurs in our country, perhaps the highest in the World. Our performance in different fields over the years has been noteworthy.

This is in spite of the confusions and contradictions at the policy making levels. After independence, the Nehru Government opted for the socialistic approach without wider discussions, in spite of Gandhi ji suggesting for it earlier. As a result, more than three precious decades were wasted with the ‘neta-babu raj’ curtailing the initiatives of our society. Hence we were not able to solve even our basic problems.

During the early 1990s, the ruling establishment opted for the other Western approach namely globalisation, again without discussions and necessary preparations. Our critical sectors such as agriculture and the SMEs were severely hit. ‘Consumer culture’ came to dominate the minds of the affluent sections. But in spite of the wrong prescriptions at the macro level, Bharat has been moving ahead steadily but silently over the decades.

Bharat is an ancient nation with an economic history of 5000 years and more. Even when we take the last two millennia, studies by Angus Maddisson show how we were the topmost economy with one third of global output during 0 CE. Moreover, we remained at the top for several centuries continuously, proving thereby that we have had the most sustainable economic system anywhere in the World. Subsequently the Europeans systematically destroyed much of our systems, though we largely withstood the attacks of the invaders earlier for several centuries.

Subsequently the Europeans systematically destroyed much of our systems, though we largely withstood the attacks of the invaders earlier for several centuries. But the aliens could not the kill the spirit in us. As soon as we got the political freedom, people started venturing into different activities without bothering about the state.

Ground level studies show that the entrepreneurial initiatives started immediately during the following periods and in a few places even during the British times. Many of the traditional vocations continued and expanded wherever possible. Lack of water and regular income from agriculture forced sections of people to enter into new fields. Hence the enterprises increased over the decades, due to the initiatives at the local levels.

The economic development of Bharat during the past seventy years is amazing. It is largely led by the local societies with the local systems that they create with their native genius. Decades ago, when people in southern Tamil Nadu wanted to enter business, they did not have funds. So they created a system of mobilizing funds called Mahamai by taking a pledge in front of their ‘kula devata’ (The Family God/Godess). Now they are one of the most successful business communities dominating the businesses of firecrackers and match boxes at the national level and establishing one of the most successful banks, namely Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank.

"A Swadeshi model should be based on the higher ideals of our civilisation leading to the welfare of all with Antodaya as enunciated by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay at its core."

The entrepreneurial abilities of our ordinary sections are exemplary. Rajkot is the well-known engineering centre at the global level. They make different kinds of engineering items, including the mother machines. It was the initiative of few locals with diesel engines during the 1960s that enabled the town to emerge as a global engineering centre. Thiruchengode in Tamil Nadu, known for its rig industry, was almost controlling the business throughout the country till recently. In the recent years, they have moved to foreign countries.

*Studies have established that the family system encourages entrepreneurial capabilities which helps in being self-dependent which is our strengths

Our societies are by nature creative and have the tendency to make whatever they require using the limited resources available locally. That is how Juggad became popular and is now part of the international management dictionary. There are thousands of innovations and improvisations going on at the local levels. We have extraordinary skill sets and multiple talents.

The Western approaches have completely failed. After the 2008 crisis, they themselves openly admit it. All the international bodies such as the United Nations and G - 20 have all accepted that there are no more ‘universal models.’ Bharat with her superior economic history and functioning systems, has her own functioning models.

"By nature, our societies are creative and have the tendency to make whatever they require using the limited resources available locally. There are thousands of innovations and improvisations going on at the local levels."

But for a very long time our policy making circles refused to look at the Bharathiya systems and learn from them. Fortunately during the last few years, the top leadership of our country has been advocating policies based on our fundamentals. The Cabinet Resolution dated Jan 1, 2015 for constituting NITI Aayog notes: “We need to find our own strategy for growth. … It will be a Bharatiya approach to development.” But this one idea should percolate down to different levels without delay.

The main reason for our development over the years has been our native systems. Even in 2020, IMF predicts that Bharat will have the highest rate of growth with 1.9 per cent ahead of China, while the advanced economies are expected to have a negative growth of -6.1 per cent. Different studies establish that the family system, saving practices, social capital, entrepreneurial capabilities, larger non-corporate sector and the self-dependent tendency in the society are our strengths, with culture remaining as the foundation of our economy.

The Western academics acknowledge ‘a distinct Indian model’, in our corporate sector after studying the contemporary modern practices. A US team led by Peter Cappelli took up a study of the top corporates and concluded that the Indian leadership approaches are different from that of the West due to the unique nature of our economy and society.

It is time for us to take up initiatives to evolve a comprehensive and suitable Indian model, based on the principles of Swadeshi to lead us to self-reliance. Such a model should be based on the higher ideals of our civilisation leading to the welfare of all with Antodaya as enunciated by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, as the core. We also have to understand, appreciate and recognise our contemporary functioning systems which have been evolved by our societies based on their ingenuity and instincts.

Hence a massive initiative – involving different sections of the society - is required to create an awareness and mobilise support for Swadeshi and Self- Reliance. This is very important for our national reconstruction and hence it is our immediate duty to act upon it. The Sangh leadership has given a call for this at the appropriate time. The Prime Minister has himself articulated this idea, emphasising its necessity. Now this is the time for all of us to work on this, as Bharth is embarking on her onward journey to the next stage.

(Author is a Professor of Management involved in studying the Indian economy, business and management systems from native perspectives)

4. ####Patriotic People’s Front of Assam supports ace innovator Wangchuk's call to boycott Chinese products :  30-May-2020 :m Organiser : Media Report.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guwahati: Patriotic People’s Front Assam (PPFA) has extended it's full support to Sonam Wangchuk for his social message to everyone in India to boycott all Chinese products. The forum of nationalists also appreciates the engineer turned social scientist to raise the issue on the backdrop of ongoing Indo-China aggression in Ladakh.

In a social media appeal, Wangchuk urged the Indian nationals to refuse everything made by China as a support to the country as a whole and the soldiers on the border fighting the Chinese security personnel. He pointed out that while the forces would respond to the Chinese army with bullets, the citizens should react with wallets (ready financial exercise).

With Himalayas as the background where river Sindhu is seen flowing in the video, the 53 years old innovator mentioned about the growing border tension between the two giant nations and argued that the time has come for the citizens not to be contented with army actions but to support the cause of motherland by boycotting every Chinese hardware and software.

“If the entire Indian population along with Indians leaving abroad, boycott everything made in China, it would have a visible negative impact on the Chinese economy and hopefully other countries would practice the same,” said Wangchuk in Hindi adding that it may not be the mobile phones, computers or other appliances, but Indians should avoid all Chinese software produces like Tiktok, Pubg, Beauty plus etc.

The Magsaysay awardee explained the reason behind China’s brewing tensions with India as well as Vietnam, Taiwan or Hong Kong people, that Beijing is scared of an uprising inside the country. He pointed out that the Chinese people were not happy with the government handling of novel corona virus outbreak and they might raise voices for political reforms.

Beijing believes that border disputes would help generating sympathy to the regime and patriotism among their one billion-plus citizens. So they engineered the latest disputes with India. Wangchuk claimed that ‘same thing happened in 1962 when China fought against India to mask the great famine that continued for 4 years’.

“We wholeheartedly support Wangchuk’s Boycott Made In China campaign and would like to appeal everyone in the country to come forward extending gestures to the mission,” said a PPFA statement adding that Indians must not keep sitting to appreciate the soldiers alone, but adopt the practices to ruin the enemy and make the largest democracy a self-reliant nation in true senses.
