CM Yogi Adityanath takes instant action and frees property from mafia in an hour : 06-Feb-2021 : Dr Shakti Kumar Pandey : Organiser : Media Report.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has a very clear stance towards mafia activities in Uttar Pradesh. His 'Zero Tolerance' policy was visible the other day when a complainant informed that his land was grabbed by a mafiosi.
The other day while he was meeting people in Janta Darshan at Gorakhpur Mutt, and received a complaint that mafiosi has grabbed land, he instructed the officials to swing into action immediately and free the land, which the officials did instantly and submitted the report within an hour
He not only got the property freed from illegal possession of mafia in an hour but also warned the officers that no such reports should come to him.
During a Janata Darshan programme at the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur, one Rajendra Yadav of Khoa Mandi locality complained to the chief minister about the illegal possession of his land by a land mafia.
"The land was registered in my name in 1983 and it was in our occupancy since then. However, a land mafia got the land illegally registered in his name and also demolished the house on it by misleading officials," Rajendra informed the chief minister.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath not only lined-up the officials but to the surprise of everyone present there, he said, "I remember that about 10 years back I myself had gone there and after getting the house vacated, Rajendra was given the possession. How come the mafia was again given the possession without examining the facts and the house has been demolished too?"
Following the direction from the chief minister, the officials of the district administration, police and Revenue department reached the spot with a JCB and demolished the under-construction house within an hour, and submitted action taken report to the chief minister.
It may be mentioned here that the chief minister met about 200 people during the Janata Darshan programme in the morning during his Gorakhpur visit and listened to their complaints. Besides assuring the people of speedy redressal, he also directed the officials to take necessary action.

NOTE-1. Kerala: Hindu Aikyavedi General Secretary RV Babu arrested for appealing to boycott HALAL products : 05-Feb-2021 : Organiser : Media Report.
In what could be dubbed as a desperate attempt by the ruling CPM-led Left government to woo Muslim voters in Kerala, the general secretary of Hindu Aikyavedi was arrested for appealing to the Hindus to boycott HALAL certified products. Kerala police arrested RV Babu from his workplace. He had earlier uploaded a video in Youtube where he explained ‘Halalanomics’ and the made an appeal to the Hindu community not to fall prey to this trap. Kerala police have made this a non-bailable offence and have found that his youtube video could trigger ‘communal tensions’ between the Hindus and Muslims. This argument of the Kerala police falls flat since the state remained helpless when the Islamists grew financially and developed fundamentalist networks within the state.
Hindu Aikyavedi has given a call for state-wide protests against the arrest of RV Babu. Five of the Hindu Aikyavedi activists were earlier arrested for protesting against the Halal symbol in a bakery. The organisation had accused the Halal system of being discriminatory against non-Muslims and eventually leading the monopoly of various businesses in the hands of Muslims.
Earlier in an Interview, RV Babu told Organiser Weekly, “In India Halal certification authority, for example, Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind trust charges a certain amount as fees from the applicant. They give a portion of this amount as Zakat. Here the interesting fact is that this Zakat is used for purposes that trigger suspicion. It is used for providing legal aid to terror accused people who are currently behind the bars. Every such activity is listed on their website,”
Regarding the arrest of RV Babu, the National Convener of Prajna Pravah, J Nandakumar questioned the Kerala government over this politically charged arrest and asked how can protesting against the discriminatory Halal system be considered a criminal offense!
BJP Kerala state president K Surendran accused the state government of appeasing the fundamentalists through his arrest and warned the government that they can't frighten Hindu leaders by sending them to prison.

On behalf of the Kanchipuram Sankara Mutt, TN Governor Banwarilal Purohit has handed over contributions made by devotees to Treasurer of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Theerth Kshetra Trust Swami Govind Dev Giri Purohit on 1st February. Presiding over the function organized by the Kanchi Mutt. Governor Banwarilal Purohit while addressing the gathering said that the ancient Sri Kamakshi Amman temple and the Sankara mutt have a divine and historical link with Ayodhya. He said the Sankara Mutt seers have been closely associated with efforts for a Temple for Lord Ram at his birthplace in Ayodhya. Purohit recalled the role played by various Kanchi Sankaracharyas for materializing the Ram Temple movement till the present seer Vijayendra Saraswathgal. It is to be remembered that in 1986 the then pontiff Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi, his successor Jayendra Saraswathi dedicated a beautiful silk ceremonial umbrella (Chatram) and two samaras ( silver-handled fan with hairs from Himalayan Yak ) from Kanchipuram to Ayodhya. Jayendra Saraswathi made efforts to bring all litigants on the Ram Janma Bhoomi issue to negotiating table to find an amicable solution to the vexatious issue.
TN Governor said the present Pointiff Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi has given a call to all devotees to donate liberally and contribute to the fund for the construction of Ram mandir. For that purpose, a big offertory (collection box)was placed in front of the mutt. Devotees, merchants, businessmen and others have dropped their donations. Surprisingly, Thanjavur based businessman and a Mutt devotee, M.V.J Mohan has donated Rs.5 crore through cheque. The entire collections of Rs. 6 crores have been handed over to Swami Govind Dev Giri Swamigal. Despite pandemic woes, people in Bharat have been contributing to the Ram Mandir trust.
Kanchi mutt sent gold coins, holy soil collected from the Kamakshi Amman temple, a specially made ‘Tamara Patra’ ( Copper sheet) to be put into the altar of the temple base along with the silver bricks for Ram Mandir groundbreaking ceremony in Ayodya on 5th August last year.
Udupi Pejawar Mutt head Swami Vishwa Prasanna Teertha and Govind Giri and others spoke on the occasion. The speakers were confident that soon the consecration of Ram mandir would be held.
