*The Return of  seasonal HindusFrom AAP leaders to Akhilesh Yadav to Rahul Gandhi, everybody is projecting themselves as the champion of Hindu cause after denegrating Sanatan Dharma for years

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

"Political parties and leaders who betrayed Hinduphobic sentiments earlier are now bending over backwards to display their loyalty to Hindu faith to stay relevant in politics."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hindutva as political ideology and saffron as the colour of politics ultimately got national acceptance. From ridiculing that Hindutva word, every political party is willingly embracing the Hindutva and the leaders of non-BJP parties projecting themselves as champions of Hindutva. Their electoral campaign in Uttar Pradesh confirms that Jai Sri Ram is no more a communal chant, Ram Rajya is an acceptable concept, saffron is a respected colour. Hindu way of life is universal and unquestionable.  Those parties and leaders who questioned Hindutva ideology or challenged Hindu centric ideology, ridiculed the nationalistic perception of BJP are now in the competitive running to appropriate them and struggle to remain relevant in politics. From Congress to the regional parties and from Rahul Gandhi to Akhilesh Yadav-Mayawati combination, everyone is projecting themselves as the champions of the Hindu cause, hoping the voters will forget and forgive their past anti- Hindu diatribe.

The recent entrant into the Uttar Pradesh election arena, the AAP had its ‘Tiranga Yatra’ with tricolour flags fluttering and high decibel Vande Mataram slogans with promises of “real nationalism” and real “Ram Rajya”. But for the white caps wore by the cadre in the Yatra, it would have been considered a typical BJP procession. The behaviour and words uttered by the AAP leader’s looks like a pre-planned imitation of the BJP. The leaders of AAP met the saffron-clad sadhus, hopped around the temples around Ayodhya and sought the blessings. The deputy CM of Delhi and senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia has no hesitation in bringing Ram into their party political agenda. He said that “Arvind Kejriwal is the only Chief Minister in the country who is running the government by adhering to the tenets of Lord Ram. AAP Government if formed in Uttar Pradesh, will “adhere to the teachings of Ram” is the promise. What surprises the observers is the change in the heart of AAP leaders who in Delhi always criticised others for not prioritising governance and development and accused other parties of talking about sectarian and communal issues shifting suddenly to newfound deep love to Ram and Ram Rajya. Even the other members of AAP, including its Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, spoke about the promise of “early completion of Ayodhya Ram Temple” and harped on the alleged “fraudulent temple land deals”. Huda Zariwala, a spokesperson of AAP conceded that “Ayodhya depicts the history and sentiments of people across the country”, the very words BJP leaders were using for the last several years, and opposition parties, including AAP has rejected. So the change of heart on ‘Nationalism’, Ram temple, Ram Rajya are apparently linked to the elections and victory in few seats. Ideology, now AAP believe is not static but pragmatic.

What surprises the observers is the change in the heart of AAP leaders who in Delhi always criticised others for not prioritising governance and development and accused other parties of talking about sectarian and communal issues shifting suddenly to newfound deep love to Ram and Ram Rajya

The other party which suddenly found love for Hindutva is the BSP. Priests chanted Sanskrit mantras and blew conches while the crowd shouted Jai Shri Ram and Har har Mahadev at the BSP meeting in Lucknow. The party organised a Prabudh Jan Sammelan and party supremo addressed the meet with promises on the caste lines. The party managed to get Hindu priests from different parts of Uttar Pradesh. It allowed the chant of slogans like “Hathi Nahi Ganesh Hai, Brahma Vishnu Mahesh Hai, Brahmin Shankh Bajayega, Hathi Chalta Jayega”, the very slogans which Mayawati wouldn’t have allowed earlier. This is a huge shift towards the resurrection of the party after a decade long wilderness through the Hindutva. Even BSP started talking about the early completion of Ram Temple as their priority and started demanding the details of funds collected in the name of Ram over three decades by the saffron brigade. The BSP’s Brahmin face Satish Mishra offered prayers at Ramjanmabhoomi and worshipped the Saryu River with 125 litres of milk before the start of the conclave. This being the first time any BSP leader visited Ramjanmabhoomi or supported the Ram temple issue. In fact, Mayawati vehemently opposed the temple at Ayodhya then but now had a change of heart for political gains. The day may be not far away when Mayawati finally goes to Ayodhya for the darshan of Ram Lala.

Congress is ‘a political chameleon’ capable of changing its colour as per the situation and depending on the local situation in a State. Political gain is the only target of that party. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi suddenly found his Brahmin caste and Gotra and even exhibited his janeu on his sleeves to project himself as a true Hindu. His temple hopping in earlier elections in Gujarat and Karnataka and then suddenly taking the anti-Hindu stand as he entered the Kerala campaign made him a laughing stock. This time around the drama of projecting Congress as a BC party by using the Bhagel senior, father of current Congress Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, to utter anti-Brahmin statements and getting arrested, not in UP where he made such derogatory anti-Brahmin statements, in Chhattisgarh itself is a political gimmick for favourable projection. Since Congress has lost its relevance in UP politics and is far behind the regional parties, its chameleon politics may not lead to anywhere.

Not to be left behind in the race for proclaiming the new found love for Hindutva, the Samajwadi Party, which hitherto stuck to the dominant Muslim-Yadav combination formula, has started exhibiting his pro-soft-Hindutva shift. Akhilesh yadav promised a magnificent Vishnu temple in Chambal valley. He stated claiming his father as a devotee of Pavanputra Hanuman and himself as a devotee of Bhagwan Parasurama

Not to be left behind in the race for proclaiming the new found love for Hindutva, the Samajwadi Party, which hitherto stuck to the dominant Muslim-Yadav combination formula, has started exhibiting his pro-soft-Hindutva shift by organising his first political meet and workers conclave in Chitrakoot where Prabhu Ram spent large part of his exile. Akhilesh Yadav, a hereditary politician who publicly avoided Hindutva politics in the last two decades, is no longer shy of talking about temples and religious practices more so of Hindus. He often quotes his 5 Km long trekking made around Kamdagiri mountains in 2000 on his political entry to establish himself as Hindu at heart. He promised a magnificent Vishnu temple in Chambal valley. He stated claiming his father as a devotee of Pavanputra Hanuman and himself as a devotee of Bhagwan Parasurama. He claimed himself as a better Hindu than many BJP leaders. It is the same leader who once ridiculed the talk of ‘Hindu Interests’ for the sake of Muslim appeasement has suddenly trying to project himself as Hindutvawadi. But surprisingly, he has not uttered a single word against the Brahmin bashing that Bhagel senior did while he immediately jumped to criticise the ‘Abba Jaan’ remark of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanadh. From Mulayam Singh’s, the founder of Samajwadi Party, no temple at Ayodhya to Samajwadi Party for temple at Ayodhya of Akhilesh Yadav’s the turn-on Hindutva politics is complete.

*How dubious evangelical NGO managed to get ASI licence for Pattanam excavation

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"ASI Authorities kept the Cultural Ministry in the dark and gave license to NGO Pama with questionable credentials and indivudials with alleged terrorist links to undertake Pattanam excavations."

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is to invite your attention on the licence for the year 2021, for archaeological excavations again granted to PAMA, an NGO in Kerala, by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), under the Union Ministry of Culture (ASI to be a prominent partner in the 11th session of Muziris Excavations The Hindu, June 18, 2021). The site has raised much controversy from the beginning. The licence was earlier granted for Pattanam excavations in 2020 after the Central Advisory Panel of the ASI at its meeting on September 12 and 13, 2015, asked for the closure of Pattanam excavations following complaints.

Prof K Rajan is in the Advisory Committee of the Archaeological Survey of India and has lobbied to grant licence to Cherian’s PAMA for excavating Mathilakam and other sites under Cherian’s Ancient Tamilakam Project backed by the Church.

The document, Pattanam Excavations-2008: Muziris Heritage Project, published by Kerala Council of Historical Research (KCHR), reveals that Prof K Rajan was co-director of the infamous K Rajan Pattanam Excavation project.

PAMA is headed by a team that has nothing to do with archaeology in qualification or experience. Its chairperson RVG Menon retired as an academic in engineering. Its director P J Cherian did his PhD in 1993 from the University of Calicut on “The Communist Movement in Travancore: From the Origins to the Uprisings of 1946”. He did his M Phil (1985) and MA (1978) in history and has no academic qualification in archaeology.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PAMA draws inspiration from its ‘Giant Patrons’–Karl Marx, Antonio Gramsci, V. Gordon Childe and D D Kosambi. This leaves little for imagination on the ideological moorings of the organisation.https://www.pama.org.in/patrons.php

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is not a single Indian archaeologist of repute as its patron. No Indian archaeologist has hitherto joined its fray and agreed to be its patron. How did the ASI agree to be its ‘prominent partner’ and grant licence to such an NGO with no archaeology professionals? The ASI authorities kept the Minister of Culture in the dark.

It raises serious questions regarding the excavation methodology, people involved with it and the credibility of antiquities claimed to have been recovered from the site at Pattanam. The current excavations have not revealed whether they are digging an Iron Age site or a site which shows transformation period in its stratigraphy and cultural remains. Archaeology primarily involves fieldwork and laboratory studies. It also raises serious questions about our national security.

Major archaeologists such as Professor Dilip Chakrabarti, in his work ‘Nation First’ (2014) strongly criticised Pattanam excavations. Professor Vasant Shinde of Deccan College, who excavated Rakhigarhi, has also criticised Pattanam excavations. Major archaeologists such as R Nagaswamy, A Sundara and T Satyamurti also criticised Pattanam excavations. To this excavation, the ASI has unscrupulously granted license, keeping the Cultural Ministry and Minister for Culture in dark.

The excavations are meant to establish the arrival of Apostle Thomas in Kerala and the conversion of Hindus to Christianity. PAMA Director P J Cherian personally presented papers at the Liturgical Research Centre of the Syro Malabar Church–1) The Impact of Recent Archaeological Discoveries in the Ancient Muziris on the Historiography of the Establishment of Christianity in Kerala (Kalyan, Mumbai, 2011); 2) Pattanam Archaeological Evidence and the History of Early Christianity in Kerala (Thiruvalla, Kerala 2011).

Earlier, excavations have been going on at Pattanam for over seven years and no report has been submitted no fresh excavation license can be granted according to ASI Joint Director R S Fonia (Doubting Thomases Suspend Saint Project in The Telegraph, October 1, 2015). In 2016, the licence of 20 NGOs in Kerala was suspended by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act which included the Kerala Council for Historical Research (KCHR) which then conducted the Pattanam excavations (MHA Shows no Charity, Cuts Licence of around 20 NGOs in The New Indian Express, December 8, 2016). Further, the then KCHR director Cherian was alleged of creating fake Government documents, illegal appointments and financial irregularities worth crores.

The former KCHR director P J Cherian could not continue his term in office and he started an NGO called PAMA. The PAMA secured a licence for archaeological excavations in 2020 (Attempts to Expropriate Security and Academics in Organiser, April 5, 2020). Now again, the NGO has secured licence to excavate Pattanam. After getting wind of the controversies associated with the Pattanam excavations, former President Pranab Mukherjee refused to inaugurate Pattanam Museum associated with Pattanam excavations (President skips Pattanam exhibition: The Hindu, February 28, 2016).

Has the ASI verified this track record before granting a licence to Pattanam excavations? George Soros, multi-billionaire leftist who supports Kashmir secessionists against PM Modi (George Soros laments rising nationalism, says the biggest setback in India, in The Times of India, January 25, 2020) is associated with the Pattanam project. Soros is an interlocutor in shaping the alliance between communism and the church. Central European University (CEU), which opened in Budapest, Hungary, in 1991, was founded by George Soros after the collapse of the Soviet Union, as an alternative recruitment and training centre for Left intellectuals.

The CEU launched its ambitious plan in Kerala in collaboration with the Kerala Council for Historical Research (KCHR) under a Left Government. Prof Istvan Perczel from CEU is a scholar on Byzantine history and Medieval Christianity, and one of the patrons of the dubious Pattanam excavations in Kerala, supervised by Left historians under KCHR. Prof Perczel delivered a lecture at Thiruvananthapuram on the historical legacy of Kerala Christianity (History of Kerala Christianity: Documents, monuments and methodological challenges, The Hindu, February 12, 2008). Formerly, he sent a letter to KCHR giving his benediction and highlighting, “According to tradition, Muziris was also the port where the Apostle St. Thomas landed, and the epics of indigenous south Indian Christianity started. This discovery opens immense new perspectives for the scholarship, so I wish all success for continuation.” (Muziris Heritage Project-Pattanam Excavations, 2008, KCHR, Thiruvananthapuram).

*GEAORGE SORUS EVIL MAN

Istvan Perczel, under Central European University, sponsors the Biblical project, History of Kerala Christianity based on Newly Found Documents: Methodological Challenges and Possible Answers (Talk at the IIS Centre for Contemporary Studies, July 24, 2008). The work is carried out by another Indian NGO registered in Kerala, ‘Association for the Preservation of the Saint Thomas Christian Heritage’, in close collaboration with the Marxist-sponsored Kerala Council of Historical Research. Istvan Perczel is a founding member of this NGO who is also honoured with Distinguished Visiting Professorship (three lectures) at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, Kerala, by the Left Government in Kerala.

Pattanam is currently linked with Keezhadi archaeological site in Tamil Nadu, excavated by ASI, but virtually controlled by Father Gasper Raj, a missionary with terrorist links. He is also involved in multiple activities in support of LTTE, a Sri Lankan group designated by the US State Department as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation. (Douglas C Lovelace Jr., Esq., 2008, Terrorism: Documents of International and Local Control, Academic, OUP, Vol. 91).

Keezhadi is patronised by K Rajan, who is in the Advisory Committee of ASI. Rajan is associated with Father Gasper Raj, founder of NGO Tamil Mayyam, and officially referred in US crime records as ‘Gaspar Raj Maria Paulian’. When Rajan is clearly working as an interlocutor between Pattanam and Keezhadi with international terrorist groups and personalities, his academic credibility is diluted and stands accused of anti-national activism.

*DMK LED BREAKING INDIA FORCES DAMAGING THE UNITY OF INDIA.

Anti-Hindu propagandists are also associated with Pattanam. Sunil P Elayidom, a Malayalam academic of Sri Sankara Sanskrit University, Kalady, Kerala who is a known Marxist ideologue and anti-Bhagavad Gita/Mahabharata propagandist is involved with the Pattanam excavations (Kerala: Sphinx Seal Recovered from Pattanam in The Times of India, September 21, 2020). The Hindu has published a review of his book on The Mahabharata (Sunil P Elayidom on What Makes the Mahabharata So Compellingly Modern in The Hindu September 12, 2020). Sunil P Elayidom is currently involved with the Pattanam project to bring as a historic fact that Apostle Thomas and Christianity have influenced Bhagavat Gita. Sunil P Elayidom is currently involved with the Pattanam project to bring as a historic fact that Bhagavat Gita has been influenced by Apostle Thomas and Christianity Keezhadi is patronised by K Rajan who is in the Advisory Committee of ASI. Rajan is associated with Father Gasper Raj, founder of NGO Tamil Mayyam, and officially referred in US crime records as ‘Gaspar Raj Maria Paulian’

The Cultural Ministry should take immediate action cancelling licence for Pattanam excavations conducted by the NGO PAMA and individuals with alleged terrorist links with sites such as Keezhadi, considering our national security.

*Is Democracy-10 inevitable for the world to contain Military Authoritarian & Terror Groups?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The group is being seen as an alternate arrangement against the authoritarian states and dreaded Terror Groups that harbour and support them.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

G7 or the Group of Seven (G7) is an inter-governmental political forum consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. They are all democratic countries supporting globalization, liberalization, freedom of navigation, rules-based order, respect for human rights, women rights, children's rights, LGBT rights, freedom to dissent, security for journalists, change of governments during elections peacefully, to name a few. The D-10 will be the extension of G 7 + 3 with additions of Australia, India and South Korea.

After the collapse of the Afghan civilian government by the Terrorist Taliban, which is a proxy of Pakistan ISI, Panjshir valley bombarded by Pakistan Air Force, China hosting Taliban before their emergence in Afghan, China declaring Aid to the Taliban, the world is entering a new era of strategic competition. It has bilateral, regional and global ramifications. For the first time in more than three decades, the world faces a systemic challenge from autocratic and non-state rivals from South Asia to the Middle East, Sahel Region to South East Asia and South America.

It is said that the world is at an "inflection point" between democracy and autocracy. Non-State Actors, World dreaded terrorists have taken Afghanistan with 17 of 33 Cabinet Ministers in Terror list carrying millions of dollars as bounty. They can use their land, air and space to spread terror. They can host give training, support money recruitment and more. On the other hand, China is growing more powerful and assertive as they engage in coercive tactics to expand their global influence. China's forced drought, debt-trap diplomacy, scaring neighbours and their statements of telling neighbours that they will use Nuclear Weapons are really dangerous. Meanwhile, democracies are becoming increasingly defensive, dealing with their own internal challenges while countering foreign disinformation, cyber-attacks and election meddling.

D-10 is being looked at as a Democratic Forces, with G 7 as an extension to address the above questions and trade, technology, supply chains, and standards. It was an initiative by the US Department of State policy planning dating back to 2008. It was picked up by the Atlantic Council, which launched an initiative in 2014 to maintain a rules-based democratic order under the leadership of ten leading democracies, representing about 60 per cent of global GDP and over 60% of the people living in democracies around the world.

The earlier aim of D-10 was channelling investments in existing telecommunication companies within the ten member states. The group aimed to create alternative suppliers of 5G equipment and other technologies to avoid relying on China. But now, the group is being seen as an alternate arrangement against the authoritarian states and dreaded Terror Groups that harbour and support them.

Despite Japan's presence, the G-7 remains heavily weighted towards the transatlantic. A D-10 would reflect the increasing importance of the Indo-Pacific by ensuring that influential allies, such as Australia, South Korea and India. For America, the D-10 offers an attractive platform. It provides a new paradigm for American leadership to treat democratic allies as core partners in shaping a global order that reflects common interests and ideals like climate change and disruptive technologies.

But expanding the G-7 to D -10 will require unanimous consent, and not everyone is on board. Germany and Italy are concerned it could be seen as an anti-China alliance, while France remains sceptical of coalitions of democracies. Japan, too, has raised doubts about including South Korea in light of their historical grievances and perhaps a desire to remain the only Pacific member in the group. But the present-day situation makes all the nations stand above the narrow national interest and saves the world from succeeding generations for democracy and development. However, the notion of a D-10 clearly has rattled China. "Given the current chaotic

situations of Western democratic systems, the D10 club is just an illusionary idea said a mouthpiece of China Communist Party."

Finally, one can say that given the momentous challenges of this new era, the Democratic allies must be prepared to take dramatic steps. By rallying like-minded and capable democracies around a common purpose, the D-10 can serve as a powerful instrument for defending a rules-based democratic order. All like-minded countries share a common worldview in how they perceive global challenges and their commitment to promoting democracy, the rule of law, and human rights. D10 is what the democracies of the future need to strengthen United Nations and the World.
