PM in Vadodara

Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of C-295 Aircraft Manufacturing Facility - the first aircraft manufacturing facility in private sector in the country. This facility will be utilised for manufacturing of 40 C-295 aircrafts for the Indian Air Force, through collaboration between Tata Advanced Systems Limited and Airbus Defence and Space, Spain. The facility will be a key step towards achieving Aatmanirbharta in the Defence sector, and will also help unlock the potential of the private players in the sector. Prime Minister will also visit an exhibition showcasing technological and manufacturing strides in the aerospace industry under Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

PM in Kevadia

Guided by the vision of the Prime Minister, it was decided in 2014 to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel viz. 31st October as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, to reinforce our dedication to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity and security of the nation. Prime Minister will participate in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations at the Status of Unity, Kevadia. The celebration will witness Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade, which will include contingents of BSF and of five State Police Forces, one each from Northern Zone (Haryana), Western Zone (Madhya Pradesh), Southern Zone (Telangana), Eastern Zone (Odisha) and North Eastern Zone (Tripura). Apart from the contingents, six Police Sports Medal winners of the Commonwealth Games 2022 will also participate in the Parade.

A special attraction of the programme will be performance by Tribal children’s musical band from Ambaji. The members of the Band once used to beg at Ambaji temple. Prime Minister had earlier also encouraged these children when they had performed in front of him during his visit to Ambaji last month. Other key attractions include a Special Show by NCC on the theme “Hum Ek Hain, Hum Shreshth Hain” and a cultural programme on Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, which will showcase our culture through paired States performing together.

Prime Minister will address the Officer Trainees of the 97th Common Foundation Course at the culmination of Aarambh 4.0. The 4th edition of Aarambh has been held on the theme of “Digital Governance: Foundation & Frontiers”, with a view to help Officer Trainees learn how to leverage the technological solutions to strengthen Public Service delivery and making the last mile delivery transparent, effective and efficient. The batch includes 455 Officer Trainees from 13 Services, from across 29 States and UTs.

Prime Minister will also dedicate two new tourist attractions at Kevadia - Maze Garden and Miyawaki Forest. The Maze Garden is spread over 3 acres of land, making it the largest maze garden in the country. It consists of a total of about 2.1 Km of pathway. It has been designed in the shape of a ‘Shriyantra’, which is believed to bring positive energy to the place. A total of about 1.8 lakh plants have been planted in the Garden, which has added on to the aesthetic beauty of the landscape. The Miyawaki Forest has been developed in an area of about 2 acres. It comprises of native floral garden, timber garden, fruit garden, medicinal garden, mixed species Miyawaki section, medicinal garden and digital orientation centre. It has been developed using the technique pioneered by Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki, which helps build dense, native forests in a short span of time.

PM in Banaskantha

Prime Minister will visit Tharad in Banaskantha. During a public programme, work on water supply projects worth over Rs. 8000 crore will be started. Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of several projects, including the Kasara to Dantiwada Pipeline from the main Narmada Canal, costing over Rs. 1560 crores. The project will augment water supply and prove beneficial for farmers of the region as well. Announcement of several projects will also be done during the programme, including strengthening of Sujlam Suflam Canal, extension of Modhera-Moti Dau pipeline to Mukteshwar Dam-Karmavat Lake, lift irrigation scheme for 11 villages of Santalpur Taluka, among others.

PM in Ahmedabad

Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation two railway projects worth over Rs. 2900 crores at Asarva, Ahmedabad. These projects include the Ahmedabad (Asarva) – Himmatnagar – Udaipur Gauge Converted Line and Lunidhar-Jetalsar Gauge Converted Line. Prime Minister will also flag off new trains between Bhavnagar - Jetalsar and between Asarva - Udaipur.

With a view to have a uni-gauge rail system across the country, Railways is converting the existing non Broad Gauge railway lines to Broad Gauge. The projects being dedicated by the Prime Minister mark yet another step in this direction. The Ahmedabad (Asarva) – Himmatnagar – Udaipur Gauge Converted Line is around 300 Km long. It will improve connectivity and prove beneficial for tourists, traders, manufacturing units and industries in the region, which will in turn boost employment opportunities and help in socio-economic development of the region. The 58 Km long Lunidhar-Jetalsar Gauge Converted Line will provide a shorter route for Pipavav Port and Bhavnagar from Veraval and Porbandar. The project will enhance freight carrying capacity on this section, thus decongesting the busy Kanalus - Rajkot - Viramgam route. It will now facilitate seamless connectivity to Gir sanctuary, Somnath temple, Diu and Girnar hills as well, thus boosting tourism in the region.

PM in Panchmahal

Prime Minister will dedicate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth around Rs. 860 crores in Jambughoda, Panchmahal. He will dedicate the new campus of Shri Govind Guru University, Godhara. He will also dedicate Sant Joriya Parameshwar Primary School and Memorial located at village Vadek and Raja Rup Singh Nayak Primary School and Memorial located at village Dandiyapura.

Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the building of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Godhra. He will also lay the foundation stone for development of Godhra Medical College and expansion of Kaushalya - The Skill University, worth over Rs. 680 crores.

PM in Banswara

As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the government has initiated several steps to celebrate unsung tribal heroes of the freedom struggle. These include declaring 15th November (birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda) as ‘Janjatiya Guarav Divas’, setting up tribal museums across the country etc to recognise the contribution of tribal people to society and increase awareness about their sacrifices in the freedom struggle. In yet another step in this direction, Prime Minister will attend a public programme - ‘Mangarh Dham ki Gaurav Gatha’ at Mangarh Hill, Banswara, Rajasthan, to pay homage to the sacrifices of the unsung tribal heroes and martyrs of the freedom struggle. During the programme, Prime Minister will also pay homage to Bhil freedom fighter Shri Govind Guru and also address a gathering of Bhil Adivasis and other tribal population of the region.

Mangarh Hill holds special importance for the Bhil community and other tribes of Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh. During the freedom struggle where Bhils and other tribes engaged in a long stand-off with the British, more than 1.5 lakh Bhils rallied at Mangarh Hill on 17th November 1913 under the leadership of Shri Govind Guru. Britishers opened fire at this gathering, leading to Mangarh Massacre where approximately 1500 tribals were martyred.
